May not be any excuse(s), but there are most certainly reasons... Since MOST 'users' are not having this problem(s) i always wonder why a small handful inevitably rise to the occasion... Normally i would not attempt to touch a comment like this, but the implied credentials warrant a related response. (For the benefit of any 'noobs' who might misunderstand - and subsequently get 'burnt'.)

Unless the victim (ie Terry in this case) is willing to allow an expert (in these specific matters) to log into/onto his/her system (via whatever method) and evaluate every hardware 'factor' it is not likely that the software 'factor' will be exposed. 'NOOBS' pay attention here please: WHATEVER YOU (THE 'VICTIM') DO, DO not PROVIDE YOUR HARDWARE DATA OR ASK FOR (SPECIFIC) HELP IN THIS MATTER! SORRY, BUT THIS IS THE WRONG PLACE (FORUM) TO DO THIS - and you will most likely only get a whole lot of NO flags for your trouble. (Again, sorry!)
